Hypnotherapy is a powerful combination of the psychotherapy, a talking-therapy, with the added benefit of hypnosis which enables the subconscious mind to make beneficial changes. Solution-focused hypnotherapy is an incredibly gentle yet effective form of hypnotherapy. I will never ask you to discuss or relive past traumas. Whilst we acknowledge that there are reasons for you to feel the way you do, our focus will be on how you want to feel; what you want to achieve.
It’s important to be aware of what hypnosis isn’t; it is not a loss of control. It’s actually a really natural state that we all go in and out of throughout the day: driving that regular route; running at the gym; getting lost in a really good book. It’s simply a state of focused attention. And when you’re in this relaxed state, your mind is more responsive to positive suggestion. In solution-focused hypnotherapy you’ll decide what action it is you want to take and it’s those thoughts that you’ll be able to focus on under hypnosis. The feeling is similar to daydreaming. You can often hear everything that is being said whilst in a deeply relaxed state. You always have the control to ‘wake-up’ at any time.
I conduct my client sessions on Zoom. Hypnotherapy has been proven to be just as effective online as it is in person.
The Initial Consultation is just a chat to explore what has brought you to seek therapy and will not include any hypnosis. This typically lasts 30 minutes.
Subsequent sessions will last up to 1 hour. We’ll start each session by reviewing what’s been going well and focusing on positive thoughts, leading onto a range of solution-focused questions to facilitate small, positive changes to help you move forward. The session will end with a hypnosis, enabling you to focus on what it is you want to achieve in a deeply relaxed state. You’ll need to be in a safe, comfortable space where you will not be interrupted; where you can hear me clearly and where I’m able to always see you. Office chairs are not conducive to effective hypnosis; an armchair or couch is recommended. A good internet connection is required.
Each session will last up to 1 hour.

Individual sessions are charged at £70 each
A block of 6 sessions can be purchased for £360 (Equivalent to £60 per session)
A block of 12 sessions can be purchased for £660 (Equivalent to £55 per session)
